Since our last update, the summer has come and gone, so has Halloween, Thanksgiving, and now Christmas is two days away!
Since our last post, we hosted the annual family Thanksgiving dinner and had plenty of room for everyone! We hosted two parties, a house warming and a Tacky Christmas Sweater party! We even had a fence installed after the dogs complained about not being able to take advantage of the open space since we have a major road near by.
As we sign off for now, here is a picture of the Christmas tree. We hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We will post more in 2012.

Wildlife
We bought a corn feeder that you hang from the tree in an attempt to get the squirrels to hang from it. Obviously this didn't work, he just knocks some off and eats it off the ground.
We even put a feeder on the tree for him to enjoy

And when it gets hot there is even a perch to lay down and relax
And when the squirrel feeder runs dry or he decides that he wants some bird seed, they get adventurous and climb on the feeder with the birds.

Finished Product!
Hey everyone! It has been a few weeks since we have been in the house and have unpacked 90% of our stuff.
We wanted to show you the finished product, but wanted to wait to let the grass grow and some of the plants and flower we have bloom. We were not home for the tornados that hit North Carolina, however one of them started only a 1/2 mile from our house. We were blessed and did not have any damage, however the neighborhood behind us has damaged homes and trees down everywhere.
