Paint and Lights

Bonus room paint, lighting fixtures, and fan. Carpet will be installed this week.

Master bathroom is complete, paint will be added after the hardwood and carpet goes in. As the painter stated "We are the last people you will see here". They had to wait on the grout and tile to be complete before they could paint.

Master closet has a primer coat. This is John's side of the closet, my side is the same (minus the box on the floor next to the shoe rack)

Master bedroom fixtures and paint. If you look out the window you will see a cleared area, this is where the septic was installed.

Study fixture and paint. They will paint the interior boxes on the lower part of the wall to match the dining room.

Dining room fixture and paint.

We plan on going back tonight after the back splash is installed in the kitchen and the grout is put in.
Other updates:
  • The well has been installed and the water sample will be taken Monday. It takes about a week to get the results back....fingers crossed.
  • Landscaping has begun, the were able to take enough dirt from the side of the yard to keep from having to bring in any dirt. He has to wait until the driveway and sidewalks are poured this week to continue.
  • The garage doors and openers are installed. We will put up pictures when the doors themselves are replaced, there was a mix-up and the wrong doors were ordered. No big deal since they can take them down and reuse them on another house. Here is a link to what we are putting in if you are curious. This is the double and this is the single

Paint and Tile Update

The tile in the master bathroom is complete!
Here is a picture of the front of the house with the green. The white trim and inkwell accents are coming this week.
You can see the exterior color better without direct sunlight. They have also added stairs to the back porch and set the posts and rails. The clearing to the right is where the septic field went and has increased the amount of side yard we have.

Getting Closer

The main staircase. If you see towards the top of the stairs, we opted to remove the half wall and put pickets and railing to compliment the staircase.
