Moving in!

We apologize for not updating the blog sooner but it has been busy in the Lemire household. The movers came March 19th and moved all of our big furniture. The Certificate of Completion (Certificate of Occupancy) was issued on March 24th after all inspections were complete and the water test from the well were cleared. We began staying at the new house March 25th; I think this has been more stressful on Riley and Macy than for us. They have been great dogs and will enjoy the new space once we get settled in. Our plan is to upload picture after everything has been unpacked and put away so that you can see the final product. For now, the security system, blinds, and cable TV have been installed. As with any new house there have been small things that we have noticed and our builder has been quick to get someone up to take care of them. Thank you for all of the support and love during this process.

Wrapping Up!

Can you believe that the end is almost here! Everyone has been working hard to complete the house so that we can move in. The final inspections for Electrical, Plumbing, and Mechanical will be Monday March 14, 2011 and once we get the water test back on the well we can schedule the inspection to receive our CO. The movers are lined up and so is the closing, fingers crossed it goes smooth.
